okie i've officially been in melbourne for over a week, i had better update. i've been putting it off as i still don't have internet access at my house boohoo. you can only guess how i'm blogging now. only some people know heheh. but i assure you most of the time i use internet it's at the uni library (for fb i've only used it there), and it's really fast there so yay (:

to everyone who sent me off/ wanted to but couldn't make it/ gave me stuff/ sent me messages/ letters etc., thanks so much! much love <3

for about the first 3 days i was here in melbourne, i totally didn't access the internet and consequently had no means of contact with friends in spore. that was tough. but thank God i've got my brother here; i'm really so fortunate he's helped me settle down much faster! and him being here means i've got family here, so that's awesome (:

for now i am contactable via msn/email/fb. but once i get my internet line, go sign up for skype then i can really talk to you guys! (:

anyway melbourne's a lovely place to be in. the only issue i have problem with is the weather. the erratic weather!! within a day it can be hot cold dry wet. it takes time getting used to for sure.

i've really taken to heart whatever words God had given me - be it directly to me, or through others - with regards to this stage of my life. it makes so much difference to know i am on the right course, and what God wants me to do, even if i don't understand some things at this point in time. remember, hindsight is always perfect in the Lord!

ooh and i was accepted into the math subject recommended for the major i'm going for so praise God for that! i printed the h2 a level syllabus and brought it to the science fac's math dept to show them (i'm with the fac of commerce). i really think it's by God's grace i got into the subject even without having to take the advanced placement test! before coming to melbourne i was quite apprehensive about whether i could qualify for the subject. apparently a levels have given us a pretty good grounding in most topics save for mechanics, according to what the lady dr. said.

well with regards to orientation, so far so good (: made a number of new friends and bumped into some familiar faces! i cannot say enough how welcome familiar faces are in a new environment. i tell you, when you meet new people, you need to know how to make small talk haha. and then with time it progresses from acquaintance to friendship (:
